How to Create a Relaxing Bath at Home Using a Few Easy Steps

1. Set the Bath Scene

3. Get the Temperature Right

You need to get the temperature of the water perfect in order to enjoy your bath.

If you don’t get it warm enough, you won’t be able to spend very long in the water. Too hot and you’ll burn yourself.

You probably need to target around 92 degrees Fahrenheit for the best results. If you’re struggling to reach the right temperature with the tap alone, use the kettle.

4. Add Bath Bombs and Salts

If you’re serious about getting the spa experience in your home bath, then you simply need to include bath bombs and salts.

Your bath salts will make the water fizz. You can really take in the relaxing feeling of the warm soapy bubbles around you.

Do you want to be especially adventurous? You can always put food coloring in the water to alter the color of the water.

5. Lie Back and Enjoy it 

Up to now, getting your bath ready probably isn’t so relaxing. But, now it’s time for you to lie back and relax.
